The RescuEAN enables divers to make use of any high oxygen percentage mixes available from other divers by connecting the low pressure hose (normally assigned to the BCD) to the unit and connecting the (supplied) hose to an oral/nasal mask which is directly given to the stricken diver. It also still works after being sent to 50 metres in the chamber and being run over by a car, as you may remember from our spring issue when we tested it.
