DIVECREW CELEBRATES ITS 15TH BIRTHDAY
	From humble beginnings in Frimley, Mark Ovenden and Caroline Bean started Berkshire Divecrew in their garage in the spring of 1995. After an exciting start, they quickly moved to premises in Camberley, where they opened the first dive centre. During the next ten years new centres were added: Chiltern Divecrew; Hampshire Divecrew; Surrey Divecrew and then finally Divecrew itself was created to manage the four satellite centres. The main dive centre moved twice, first to an industrial estate in Bracknell and then finally in 2001, to its current location in central Bracknell. In 2006 they handed over the reins to Collin Miles and Middlesex Divecrew was added to the growing brand. During the last five years, new strategic alliances with Blackrock Dahab and Sharm were developed as well as Collin Miles achieving the rating of Course Director allowing the full instructor development programme to be on offer here now at Divecrew as well as in Dahab, Sharm and The Seychelles. The final stage of the journey was completed when Divecrew was awarded the accolade of Career Development Centre in January 2010, one of only nine UK centres.
